DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding ofquality assurance best practices. QA automation, as well as knowledge of blockchain technology would be a plus. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing robust QA flows ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative application of decentralized technology
Your Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the manual testing efforts and deliverables
Create, review, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools
Collaborate with collaborators to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test cases
Perform both API and UI testing
Mentor and guide junior QA Engineers
Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation
Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk advances appropriately
Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, and processes
Experience in creating, reviewing, and driving test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Experience with defect tracking and project management tools(e.g. JIRA)
Experience with tools for testing REST APIs like Postman
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience mentoring and guiding junior QA Engineers
Understanding of SQL or other database query languages
Working proficiency in English
Experience in the financial industry or with blockchain technology
ISTQB certifications
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Experience in performance and/or security testing
Stays current on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
