Job Requirements
The skillset required for a successful team setup in India is:
Production & Test Engineering Experience: The engineers must have a deep understanding of production test processes, specifically from a factory or ODM background (e.g. Intel). Experience working at sites like Stats ChipPAC or UTAC is highly valued, as it indicates a hands-on knowledge of production environments.
Robustness & Quality Assurance: The team needs to be familiar with quality assurance activities like GR&R (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility) and correlation studies. Their role isn't to develop the test program but to validate its robustness and ensure it meets production standards.
Seniority: Leonard explicitly states that the team cannot be 'fresh.' He's looking for engineers with a high level of experience—likely 10+ years—who have moved around the industry and gained a broad, comprehensive view.
