We are seeking an Accountant for a full-time role at Proof-of-Skill. This is a remote role. You will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance in India
Experience with Excel / Google Sheets for financial tracking
Ability to manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Ability to handle confidential financial data
Self-driven with high ownership in a remote setupRoles and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, and compliance requirements
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
have minimum 1 years of experience
