QA Engineer (F/M/D)
Rs 17.5 - 26 lakhs p.a.Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery for Mist Cloud products by designing, executing, and automating test strategies for Web GUI and REST APIs. Collaborates with engineering, customer success, and QA teams to identify defects, improve system robustness, and validate product functionality. Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Execution:
Develop, modify, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and suites for Mist Cloud applications.
Validate Web GUI and REST API features, ensuring system stability and functionality.
Automate regression test cases using tools like Selenium and Pytest.
Support staging, smoke, and production sanity tests for regular code releases.
Defect & Issue Management:
Create defect and enhancement tickets in the tracking system and collaborate with engineering teams for resolution.
Recreate and analyze customer-reported issues, driving fixes and improvements.
Escalate critical issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal impact on customers.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with Customer Success and Engineering teams to enhance test coverage based on real-world usage.
Maintain technical documentation in Confluence for QA and Customer Success teams.
Manage multiple projects and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- BE/ME/MS in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in QA, software testing, or related roles.
- Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API troubleshooting, basic knowledge of JSON, and Django RESTful APIs.
- Prior experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium and Pytest.
- Knowledge of networking technologies is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated track record of initiative and resourcefulness.
