QA Engineer - Manual Testing
Dream11 is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. If you have 3+ years of experience in software QA, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and proficiency in both manual and automation testing, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your Role
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios .
Perform thorough manual testing , including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems .
Work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and evaluate quality metrics.
Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes .
Document testing procedures and maintain test documentation.
Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance .
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes .
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies .
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities .
Good-to-Have Skills
ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, Locust).
Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Experience with mobile application testing .
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github actions).
