Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer
Quintinno Labs is an early-stage cleantech startup building compact, affordable portable power stations. Our proprietary power electronics architecture and patented design make our battery-based, solar-capable systems 5–10x lighter than traditional diesel generators.
Our vision is to miniaturize energy-tech to an extent where every individual is able to carry their personal energy source with them, anytime and anywhere. We already have purchase orders from various companies and ongoing discussions for pilot projects with the Government of Assam, as well as L&T.

We are seeking an engineer with a solid foundation in power electronics and battery-tech, along with strong hardware experience. Lead the design and development of Quintinno's indigenous power electronics architecture. Test, debug, and enhance the power electronics of our first product, Quint Mini, a 1500W portable power station.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturing partners, and outsourced talent to ensure the streamlined evolution of the product.
- Oversee the seamless integration of components including the battery, BMS, power electronics, and embedded systems into the final product.
- Conduct field trials, gather feedback, and drive continuous product improvement.
Immediate Tasks:
Test, debug, and validate the 1500W circuit for immediate product launch of Quint Mini.
Conduct field trials of Quint Mini with our existing clients and upgrade the product as per real-world feedback.
Assist in the hiring of key members of the engineering team and upgrading our company lab infrastructure.
We care more about your skills, problem-solving ability, and motivation than degrees — but the following will help you succeed:
- Master's or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field preferred.
- 2–3 years hands-on hardware experience in circuit and PCB design, testing, and fabrication.
- Proficiency with KiCad, MATLAB, or similar simulation/modeling tools.
- Deep understanding of power electronics, especially multi-stage AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters/inverters.
- Solid experience with lithium-based batteries, BMS integration, and thermal management systems.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, control algorithms, and firmware development is a strong plus.
