Business Development Specialist (Temporary)
Program for Appropriate Technology in Health
PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science economics technology advocacy and dozens of other specialties PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the worlds most pressing heath challenges.
PATH is seeking a highly motivated self-driven professional with a passion for public health and development to join the Strategy and Business Development team. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with business development acumen supporting initiatives that advance health equity across PATHs program verticals including Family Health Technology Innovation & Systems Infectious Diseases Vaccines & Innovation Access.
Collaborate with the Strategy team and vertical program teams to support organizational strategic initiatives and growth planning.
Support the development and management of PATHs public health portfolio through concept notes proposals donor pitches presentations and program strategy documents.
Track and monitor active funding opportunities from Indian and global donors ensuring relevant updates are shared with program teams.
Analyze program data to generate insights and recommendations for strategy and program improvement.
Contribute to the internship program by supporting intern outreach recruitment and coordination with team members.
Assist in coordinating project management processes internally and with external stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with project partners stakeholders and donors.
Participate in field visits training roll-outs and other program-related activities as needed.
Undertake other tasks as required to support the Strategy and Business Development team.
Skills & Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience in consulting program management business development coordination or field implementation.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint for high-quality presentations and Excel for data analysis.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or design tools like Canva is a plus.
- Experience working with government institutions corporates healthcare providers or NGOs is desirable.
- Field-oriented with a collaborative approach to program delivery.
