The Project Manager (PM) will oversee the development of K-12 educational content for a US-based client, focusing on managing the project lifecycle, team collaboration, and content quality.
Key Responsibilities Project and Content Development.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Content Development Coordination: Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and writers to develop, review, and refine curriculum content.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between internal production and functional teams and external stakeholders (freelancers, vendors).
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential roadblocks (scope creep, resource limitations) and create mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, manage vendor contracts, and ensure efficient use of personnel and materials.
- Reporting and Documentation: To be well versed with creating scope documents and project plans. Bachelor’s degree, PMP certified preferred
- Experience: 3–7+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development, educational publishing, or EdTech project management.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to use Waterfall and agile project planning, or tools like Smart sheet, MS Project, or Jira to manage complex, multi-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership or educational stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for tracking) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or CMS
- Should have experience in using basic AI tools
