Fitness and PT Manager

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fitness Manager to oversee and grow the Personal Training (PT) business across our gyms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness operations, sales, and people management, with proven expertise in driving PT revenue, building high-performance trainer teams, and delivering exceptional member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. PT Business Growth & Revenue Management
Develop and execute strategies to increase PT revenue across all gyms.
Set monthly & quarterly PT sales targets for trainers and ensure achievement.
Monitor and analyze PT business performance, taking corrective actions where needed.
Create PT packages, offers, and promotions to drive sales.
2. Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and manage a team of certified personal trainers.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for skill enhancement.
Ensure trainers maintain high service standards and professionalism.
Develop career growth pathways for trainers to improve retention.
3. Member Engagement & Retention
Ensure PT programs are personalized, effective, and aligned with member goals.
Manage member complaints or concerns related to PT services promptly.
Build strong relationships with members to drive repeat PT sales and referrals.
4. Operational Excellence
Maintain PT schedules, session tracking, and attendance records.
Ensure trainers adhere to gym safety protocols and hygiene standards.
Work closely with the Operations team for smooth day-to-day PT operations.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Maintain detailed PT business reports (sales, sessions, trainer performance).
Present PT business performance to senior management regularly.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing fitness operations and personal training business.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding PT sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of fitness, exercise science, and PT program design.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Certification in Personal Training or Fitness Management (ACE, ISSA, NASM, etc.) preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
