Full Stack Python/Angular Developer

HealthSigns is building the Intelligent Operating System for Healthcare - an AI-powered platform that unifies EMR, Labs, Transcription, and Care Coordination into one intelligent ecosystem. At the heart of it lies our Intelligence Kernel , the reasoning layer that drives decision-making, workflow automation, and large-scale clinical intelligence across multiple care domains.
Role Overview

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer (Python + Angular) with 4–5 years of hands-on experience who loves working close to the metal - writing clean, efficient code in core Python while also building intuitive, responsive frontend interfaces using Angular or equivalent modern frameworks.
You'll be part of the Intelligence Kernel team, responsible for developing APIs, backend logic, and scalable data layers that interact with AI and LLM-driven components , while ensuring seamless user experiences on the frontend.
This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, hands-on with data modeling and UI development, and eager to explore how AI and LLMs can transform healthcare systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using core Python , ensuring performance, clarity, and scalability.
Build and optimize frontend components and dashboards using Angular (or React) for doctor and operations-facing workflows.
Design and manage MongoDB schemas and document-based data models.
Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate LLM modules , reasoning engines, and contextual intelligence pipelines.
Connect backend services across Labs, Transcription, EMR, and Analytics layers to form unified workflows.
Ensure cross-platform consistency, responsive design, and smooth API-frontend communication.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code with proper testing and CI/CD integration .
Continuously explore new AI frameworks , frontend design patterns, and architectural improvements to evolve the Intelligence Kernel .

Technical Skills

Must-Have:

Strong proficiency in Core Python (no heavy framework dependency)
Proven experience in frontend development using Angular (preferred) or React
Expertise in REST API design and integration
Hands-on experience with MongoDB / NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of OOP principles , data structures , and asynchronous programming
Familiarity with Git , Docker , and CI/CD pipelines
Strong grasp of UI/UX fundamentals , responsive layouts, and component architecture.

Good-to-Have:

Exposure to LLMs , AI pipelines , or integrations with APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
Knowledge of PostgreSQL , Redis , or message queues (Celery/Kafka)
Familiarity with healthcare data structures (FHIR/HL7) and data privacy frameworks (HIPAA, DPDP, etc.)
