Social Media Executive - Marketing

Role Overview iCliniq is looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Executive to support and execute our digital content strategy across platforms. This is a hands-on execution role, you'll be creating content, tracking performance, and growing iCliniq's presence as a trusted healthcare brand. Open to both medical and non-medical candidates.
Key Objectives
Execute daily content publishing across social platforms
Grow engagement and follower base consistently
Support campaign rollouts and platform experiments
Contribute fresh content ideas aligned with health trends
Learn and adopt AI tools to improve content output and efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook, Pinterest, and Reddit
Write captions, scripts, and copy in line with iCliniq's brand voice
Engage with the audience - respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions
Track weekly performance metrics and share updates with the lead
Support the social media lead in campaign planning and execution
Coordinate with design, SEO, and medical teams for content accuracy
Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and trending formats
Experiment with new content formats - Reels, Shorts, carousels, infographics
Eligibility
Medical Background: MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / Allied Health with interest in digital content
Non-Medical Background: Marketing / Communications / Journalism / Mass Media with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on social media experience
Required Skills
Hands-on experience managing social media accounts
Content creation and basic copywriting
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics
Basic graphic design sense (Canva or similar)
Good communication and time management
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred Skills
Experience in healthcare, edtech, or digital-first brands
Tools: Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, or any scheduling tool
Basic understanding of SEO and hashtag strategy
AI Tools: Openness to explore AI tools for content ideation, caption writing, image generation, and performance tracking (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI) - prior experience is a strong plus
Personal portfolio or active social media presence
