Physiotherapist - Rehab/Immediate Care

Registered Nurse – Physiotherapist
Reviewing medical charts and conducting physical exams to evaluate strength, range of motion (ROM), and respiratory function.
Treatment Implementation: Using manual therapy, specialized exercise programs, and electrotherapy (like TENS or ultrasound) to manage pain and improve mobility.
Respiratory Care: Providing chest physiotherapy to help clear lungs and improve breathing for patients in the ICU or those recovering from major surgery.
Post-Operative Rehab: Guiding patients through early mobilization (getting out of bed) immediately following orthopedic, cardiac, or abdominal surgeries.
Attending 'ward rounds' with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate holistic patient care.
Discharge Planning: A degree in Physiotherapy Masters/ Bachelors from an accredited institution.
Active registration with a national or regional health council.
Exp : 2-8 Years in a multispeciality Hospital Set up.
General physiotherapists in a hospital often rotate through different specialties
Multispecialty hospital pharmacy (inpatient & outpatient services).
Rotational shifts, including night duties.
