The Holistic Shala is a new digital education and coaching ecosystem for therapists, health professionals, and wellness practitioners. Rooted in Eastern and Western wisdom, we create meaningful content across Instagram, YouTube, and podcasts while building a values-aligned digital community.
You will also support Sarvam Shakti, a 13-year-old holistic education platform for marginalised girls in India, as most content overlaps across both brands.
We are seeking a creative, sincere, storytelling-driven graduate who is passionate about wellness, spirituality, and digital content creation.
You will work closely with the Founder to create high-quality digital content, plan social media strategy, edit videos, schedule posts, track analytics, and help shape a growing online brand within the holistic wellness space.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves editing, wellness content, and wants rapid growth in the digital creator ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
A. Video Editing (Primary)

1. Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
2. Edit long-form videos (YouTube episodes, podcasts, interviews).
3. Add captions, transitions, overlays, and templates.
4. Maintain consistent brand aesthetic, pacing, and storytelling.
5. Prepare podcast video and audio cuts.

B. Social Media Strategy (Co-Creation)

1. Brainstorm monthly and weekly content plans with the Founder.
2. Translate intellectual, spiritual, and health concepts into engaging digital formats.
3. Research trends in health, holistic coaching, psychology, and spirituality.
4. Suggest hooks, formats, and creative ideas for Reels.

C. Publishing & Posting

1. Schedule posts across all social media platforms.
2. Add relevant hashtags, descriptions, end screens, and cards.
3. Maintain consistent daily or alternate-day posting based on the calendar.

D. Thumbnails & Graphics

1. Create aesthetic YouTube thumbnails.
2. Design simple and consistent Instagram cover tiles.
3. Maintain visual coherence across platforms.

E. Analytics & Reporting

1. Track key metrics like reach, views, watch time, and saves.
2. Provide weekly insights and recommend improvements based on data analytics. Skill(s) required

1. Basic proficiency in editing tools: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
2. Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of visual storytelling.
3. Familiarity with Instagram and YouTube editing styles and formats.
4. Ability to manage deadlines and work in a structured content calendar.
5. Excellent English writing skills for captions and descriptions.
6. Bonus: Interest in holistic health, yoga, psychology, or spirituality.
