Accounting
Lead accounting for Armstrong India legal entities
Own the monthly, quarterly and annual books closure of legal entities
Support the statutory and periodic audits of the entities

Be a gatekeeper for all financial compliances for Armstrong India legal entities
Collaborate and work with functional teams to ensure effective data in returns and records
Spearhead in managing historical process and financial documentation repository
Be accountable for compliance under commercial laws, Income Tax, GST, Companies Act and other applicable commercial laws to the company

Work with Operations, Sourcing, Sales, HR to monitor OP Plans for the year
Ideate, collaborate and coordinate process strengthening and changes to give effect to internal audit observations
Lead a team of finance professionals, accountants to deliver finance objectives
Coach and mentor technical knowledge around accounting, auditing, tax and corporate audit laws
Influence stakeholders on best practices around accounting and auditing
Mentor individuals on professional best behaviors and succession planning.
Education and Experience

• Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years' post qualification
• Experience of statutory audit for private limited companies with manufacturing operations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure statutory and tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, 2013 etc.)
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders
• Handle internal audits, statutory audits, and coordinate with external auditors
• Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and accounting changes
• 5+ experience of working with engineering and manufacturing
• Rich experience in multinational companies and multiple revenue streams i.e. Products, Projects and Services business'
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, general best finance practices, process simplification, and corporate regulations, policies and procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in Power BI and Tableau.
Proficiency in handling big data, ideation and simplistic visualization for effective articulation of problems and solutions through data.
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicts within various organizational structures.
The capability to simplify complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
