Role Summary : We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Business Objects (BO) and Crystal Reports, specifically focused on migrating legacy reporting systems to Power BI. The ideal candidate will be proficient in report rewrites, data validation, and building pixel-perfect outputs using Power BI Paginated Reports.- Convert and rewrite existing Business Objects (BO) and Crystal Reports into Power BI reports and dashboards.- Collaborate closely with data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and validate transformation logic.- Develop Power BI Paginated Reports for pixel-perfect layouts where required.- Validate end-to-end data lineage, ensuring consistency between BO Universes / Crystal queries and Power BI datasets.- Optimize data models and report performance for scalability and accuracy.- Ensure adherence to reporting standards, governance, and best practices.- 4-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting.Strong hands-on experience with : - SAP Business Objects (BO) - Crystal Reports - Understanding of Universes, schemas, and report logic extraction - SQL queries, transformations, and data flow validationAdvanced expertise in Power BI, including : - Data modeling & dataset structuring - DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) - Power BI Paginated Reports (RDL) development- Proven experience in end-to-end BI report migration projects.- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
