Responsibilities

Develop detailed design concepts and prototypes for new products and enhancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability.

Utilize CAD and other design software to create accurate engineering drawings and models.

Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine product designs.

Perform testing and analysis on prototypes to validate design performance and reliability.

Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components to meet design specifications and cost targets.

Document design processes, specifications, and modifications thoroughly for future reference and manufacturing use.

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate best practices in design solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Experience in creating prototypes and conducting design validation tests.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Prior experience in product design engineering or similar roles is highly preferred.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to product design.
