COBOL Application Engineer
Rs 5 - 8 lakhs p.a.Ifintalent Global Private Limited
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with the Vision Plus software, a strong understanding of financial services and card processing systems, and a keen ability to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions. As a Vision Plus Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Vision Plus modules to support our business operations.
Develop, customize, and maintain Vision Plus modules, including CMS, FAS, TRAMS, MBS, ITS, and LTS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of Vision Plus modules.
- Perform detailed analysis, coding, and unit testing of new functionalities.
- Support the testing and deployment processes, ensuring that solutions are properly tested and deployed.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Vision Plus updates to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Vision Plus Developer with a strong understanding of its various modules.
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and other relevant programming languages and tools.
- Overall 5 + years of experience with mainframe technologies and environments.
- Must have recent 2+ years of Vision plus application development experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with financial services and card processing systems.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial services.
- Occasional on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
