Job Title: Metallurgist – Non-Ferrous Castings
Industry: Foundry / Casting
We are looking for an experienced Metallurgist for our foundry specializing in non-ferrous castings, particularly Gunmetal and Nickel Aluminium Bronze. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring correct metallurgical processes, quality control, and smooth casting operations.
Inspection and verification of raw materials as per metallurgical standards
- Preparation and checking of moulds before casting
- Supervision of melting operations, including: Checking molten metal quality before pouring
- Inspection and approval of patterns prior to production
- Ensuring adherence to casting quality standards and process parameters
- Troubleshooting casting defects related to metallurgy and process
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in non-ferrous foundry operations
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering or any Graduate
- Experience in industrial or production foundry environment
