About the job
Key responsibilities:
Edit full-length YouTube videos (8-30+ minutes) with a strict 48-hour turnaround
Create high-retention, storytelling-based videos similar to:
Dhruv Rathee-style explainer videos
Political commentary & analytical content
Fast-paced GenZ documentary-style edits
Use AI tools to speed up workflow (auto-cuts, AI captions, voice cleanup, background removal, B-roll suggestions, etc.)
Handle complete post-production:
Research-based visual storytelling
Timeline structuring & narrative building
Dynamic text animations
Motion graphics & infographic-style elements
Sound design & cinematic background scoring
Clean color grading
Add engaging hooks within the first 5-15 seconds
Insert relevant news clips, screenshots, data visuals, maps, graphs, and context-based overlays
Create high-retention pacing (pattern interrupts, zooms, transitions, beat cuts)
Add subtitles optimized for audience retention
Maintain brand identity (fonts, tone, political neutrality or positioning as required)
Deliver revisions within 24 hours
Export optimized versions for YouTube & social platforms
Not restricted to any specific software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, etc.) Skill(s) required
