Senior Procurement Consultant - Marketing

Develop and execute seasonal buying strategies aligned with brand vision, market trends, and sales forecasts.

Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer behavior to identify profitable product opportunities.

Manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and sample evaluation to production, quality control, and on-time delivery.

Collaborate with design, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product planning and alignment with brand positioning.

Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to adjust buying plans and minimize overstock or stockouts.

Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with ethical, sustainability, and quality standards.

Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, pricing, and supplier contracts using ERP and procurement systems.

Forecast demand with accuracy and manage buy plans within budget constraints to maximize margin and turnover.

Represent the brand at trade shows, supplier meetings, and industry events to build relationships and identify emerging trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience in fashion buying, preferably within apparel, accessories, or lifestyle retail.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable buying results with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, fabric types, garment construction, and production timelines.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Excel, and procurement software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for sourcing, trade shows, and supplier visits.
