About the Team
The Analytics team at Navi plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. We work closely with all business functions to generate insights, build visibility, and validate hypotheses that shape strategy and execution. Our work spans five key verticals: Business and Product Analytics, Credit & Credit Risk Analytics, Collections & Biz-fin Analytics, Self-Serve and Automation.

About the Role
Data analyst is a key role within the Navi central analytics team, which bridges the gap between business teams and data. Their responsibilities would be around creating visibility across business KPIs, essential reports, dashboards for key business metrics. They will also work on leveraging automation for operational efficiency and data modeling to build a strong data infrastructure for easy access across teams.
This is an entry level position within the team where you will get the opportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues to build data based solutions that will have direct business impact.

Must Haves
Bachelor's degree in Technology
Proven 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst
Proficiency in data analysis tools Excel, SQL, and any data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI etc)
Basic understanding of data platforms and ETL processes
Ability to interpret complex data sets, has good attention to
detail
Problem Solving skills
(Good to have) Prior data wrangling experience in R/Python

What We Expect From You
Data Management:
Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
Analysis and Reporting:
Use SQL Query, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other Excel functions to analyze financial and operational data.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions based on data analysis.
Dashboard Development:
Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, Excel or specialized BI tools.
Customize dashboards to meet specific departmental or stakeholder
requirements.
Continuously monitor and update dashboards to reflect the latest data and insights.
Process Optimization and stakeholder management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing workflows and propose enhancements. Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management and reporting.
