Application Engineer - Technical Support

We're searching for applications engineer who have the passion and excitement to grow, innovative, take an active role in product definition, execute the characterization until ramp, and provide post ramp application support to customers.

This role is responsible for application support for RF clock synthesizers, buffers and BAW oscillators. Support customers to design with TI's RF clock synthesizers, buffers and Oscillators for their applications by providing technical support, trainings as required, explaining and interpreting device datasheets, reviewing their design and help them get started with TI solution (EVM, chipset and Tools).

Participate in new silicon testing from an application perspective to ensure robustness of the product.

Create custom reference designs targeting relevant applications to be used as customer implementation ideas.

Write application notes that explain different use cases, implementation and/or flexibility of our products.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field

• 2-6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in hardware board design; schematic capture with any PCB design software
• Strong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation
• Knowledge on Clock buffers, Clock synthesizers, Analog and Digital PLLs, Oscillators and RF products

Knowledge on Python scripts, C programming, GUI tool development provides additional benefit.

Familiarity with signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and EMI/EMC considerations in PCB design

Familiar with the use of all necessary lab equipment: oscilloscope, power supplies, gain/phase analyzers, multi-meters, solder station, etc.

Experience with hardware/software integration, board bring-up & debug

Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Having experience with Clocking related products will be a plus
