About the Institute The Institute of Manufacturing and Economy (IME) at Ahmedabad University is envisioned as a premier interdisciplinary center advancing research, policy, innovation, and industry engagement at the intersection of manufacturing, technology, sustainability, and economic development. IME aims to serve as a bridge between academia, industry, and government—driving thought leadership and actionable solutions for India’s evolving manufacturing ecosystem.
The Institute of Manufacturing and Economy at Ahmedabad University invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the Director on the Manufacturing Competitiveness Report and contribute to high-impact, policy-relevant research.
Eligibility
Candidates who have recently completed a Master’s degree in Economics, Operations Management, Statistics, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Research Focus
Applicants should demonstrate interest in areas such as Innovation, Industrial Policy, Manufacturing, Technology, Data Science, and Data Visualization.
Role
The Research Fellow will support research design, data analysis, and report development, working closely with the Director to generate insights that inform policy and practice in the manufacturing sector.
