Associate Graphic Designer

Festivals From India is hiring for their client ASIGN in Chennai for an Associate Graphic Designer to join their creative team and contribute to visually compelling design across digital platforms. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality graphics aligned with brand guidelines, support design workflows, experiment with AI-powered tools, and manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail. It also crafting clean, cohesive visual assets, maintaining design consistency, and contributing fresh, thoughtful ideas that elevate our art and culture-driven communication.
ASIGN is a first-of-its-kind product & services company built specifically for the art and collectibles ecosystem. Our proprietary technology physically connects artworks and collectibles to our secure digital environment. ASIGN invites the entire art and collectibles ecosystem to capitalize on our whole range of tools and technologies. We provide services such as assigning global identification numbers, assisting with artwork documentation, inventory management, invoicing, shipping & logistics tracking and a high-visibility marketplace for selling your authentic works of art.

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai.
# A Design school background with a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Graphic design, Visual Communication or a related discipline.
A background or interest in art and culture.
Knowledge of Graphic design principles, Strong eye for composition, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
Familiarity with brand design systems.
Comfortable experimenting with AI-powered design tools to enhance productivity and creativity.

Essential Experience:

• 6 months-1 year of relevant work experience and the ability to work independently.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva and relevant design tools.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and any other design programs or relevant (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality design work.
• Good language proficiency in English; Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of video editing;
