Job Description

Duties:
Power BI Development
Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI
Build effective data models using DAX and Power Query
Maintain version control and documentation of dashboards
Maintain / Troubleshoot existing Power BI reports/dashboards and making necessary arrangements for data refresh as per required frequencies.
SQL & Data Handling
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
Collaborate with IT/data engineering teams for data availability and access
Stakeholder Engagement
Work with the Analytics Lead and functional SPOCs to understand reporting requirements
Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks within sprints or project timelines
Documentation & Standards
Maintain documentation for all dashboards and data flows
Follow standardized reporting practices and visual design guidelines
Contribute to the team’s knowledge base and reusability of templates
Qualifications

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Familiarity with DAX , Power Query , and data modelling principles
• Strong understanding of data visualization concepts
• Good understanding of relational databases , data cleaning, and transformation techniques
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Language skills in English required.

Nice to have:
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
Exposure to ERP systems like SAP , Salesforce , or other enterprise systems is preferred.
Power BI certifications are a plus.
Hands on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus.
