Junior .NET Engineer

Junior .NET Developer

Assist in developing backend services and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Work with Entity Framework Core for database interactions.

Help in implementing RESTful APIs and basic microservice components.

Participate in debugging, fixing bugs, and optimizing application performance.

Work closely with senior developers to understand technical requirements.

Convert assigned tasks and user stories into workable code.

Ensure timely delivery of assigned modules with proper quality.

Support the team in basic design discussions and documentation.

Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and review meetings.

Coordinate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth development flow.

Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and task updates to leads or mentors.

Contribute to a positive learning and team-oriented environment.

Requirements

~2-3 years of experience in .NET development (internship or academic project experience accepted).

~ Good understanding of:

• .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Entity Framework Core
• REST API concepts
• SQL Server / PostgreSQL basics

Familiarity with:

Version control (Git)

CI/CD concepts

Cloud basics (Azure / AWS preferred)

Docker fundamentals

Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and basic design patterns.

Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and good communication abilities.
