Mechanical Engineer (CAD)

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and validate mechanical systems and components for automotive applications, including engine parts, suspension systems, and structural elements.

Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Conduct performance testing, stress analysis, and failure mode evaluations to ensure product reliability and safety.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into vehicle systems.

Support production teams by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and design modifications based on real-time feedback.

Participate indesign reviews, DFMEA sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

Stay updated with emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to mechanical engineering in the automotive sector.

Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD for modeling and drafting.

Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.

Experience with mechanical testing equipment, simulation tools, and data analysis.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving design and production issues.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
