Backend Software Engineer Machine Learning Python
Company Description YoCharge is the Electric Vehicle Charging & Energy Management SaaS startup assisting Charge Point Operators to launch, operate, and scale their EV charging business efficiently. The startup is offering SaaS in more than 20 countries & looking for energetic team members to build a global product in EV & Energy domain.
This is a full-time on-site role for Backend Engineer (SDE-I) at YoCharge located in Udaipur. You will be responsible for scaling YoCharge's back-end platform & services for enabling smart charging for electric vehicles.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Experience in Python with Django, FastAPI frameworks.
Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals (regression, classification, evaluation metrics).
Hands-on experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and visualization tools like Matplotlib/Seaborn.
Git, MLflow, or experience deploying models via FastAPI.
Prior experience of scaling a product is an advantage.
Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Experience with micro-services architecture and asynchronous programming.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Experience 1-3+ Years.
Fondness for Electric Vehicles & Energy.
Love for building Product
