Design Analysis Engineer (Maternity Cover)

Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.
Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proofofconcept prototypes.
Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations sketches and 3D modelling.
Validate designs through prototyping testing and performance analysis.
Prepare detailed designs engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.
Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads project managers and team members.
Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.

For This Role You Will Need:
Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks AutoCAD).
Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics DFMEA DFA materials GD&T and tolerance analysis.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining injection molding sheet metal casting (pressure die casting) etc.
Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problemsolving methods.
Good communication teamwork and project coordination skills. position
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in mechanical design or equivalent
• 2 - 5 years experience in product design
