Subsea Pipeline Stress Analysis Engineer
Position: Piping stress Engineer Experience: 8-10 years
Educational Qualification: BE / BTech Mech
Job Overview:
To carry out engineering activities associated with piping stress analysis inline with industry standards, codes, and guidelines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Piping Stress Critical Line List based on the client specifications
- Perform the stress analysis of the critical piping using CAESAR II ensuring all operational aspects while adhering Bilfinger, industry and client standards.
- Perform stress analysis on critical piping systems using comprehensive and manual methods on identified complex piping systems.
- Preparation of datasheets for engineered items such as spring hangers, snubbers, rigid struts, expansion joints, etc. related to piping stress analysis.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to collect all necessary information for analysis and communicate the results of piping stress analysis to the other disciplines.
- Preparation of piping stress documentation for client assessment and addressing client comment on the stress documentation.
- Workshare with the Lead office
- Collaborate with the Lead Engineering office for the gathering and transfer of data. Essential Qualifications and Education.
- 7 years of experience as a Piping Stress Engineer in the oil and gas industry with engineering consulting firms focused on detailed design.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in piping material engineering oil and gas industry.
Experience in Middle East Projects / ANDOC projects is preferred.
