Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the IMG Buyer are the execution of strategies and deliver products to meet both IC and EV programs, TVM goals, Global Commodity Business Plans covering regional objectives and execution of supply-base development strategies, adept at Supplier risk management, commodity process knowledge, costing methodologies & basics of Finance.

Responsibilities

Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in engineering – Mech/Auto/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Production/Computer Science / Instrumentation

No. of Years of Experience 4+ Years

Professional Exposure

Excellent research, data mining, analytical and problem-solving skills

Extremely good Presentation & Communication skills (written and verbal)

Attitude to work in challenging environment & Attitude to improve is a must

Electronic / Electrical knowledge preferred to support Electric vehicle program.

Ability to understand cost drivers and achieve desired cost structures

Manufacturing Process knowledge of various commodities (Stampings & Plastics)

Able to lead structured supplier meetings and drive desired outcomes

Be an excellent negotiator, drive creative solutions & self starter.

Keep up commitments on time; Be Proactive and question logically

Willing to learn / teach and share experience with team member

Preferred Previous Experiences

Comprehensive knowledge of various commodities – Sheet Metal & Plastics, Electrical and Electronics

Automotive purchasing experience

Good Financial acumen – ability to read Profit & Loss / Balance sheets of companies. Good in Supplier risk Management strategies, exposure to value stream mapping & logistics.

Good supplier relationship management skills , break the barrier , out of box thinker & ' makes things happen'- cite instances.
