Electronic Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Improve and sustain First Pass Yield (FPY) for all production lines. Lead corrective actions to enhance FPY.

Establish robust quality processes, quality gates, and mistake-proofing techniques at manufacturing lines to prevent customer escapes.

Review high Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) impact parts/products and drive continuous improvements to eliminate abnormalities.

Review implemented Poka-yoke/Quality Kaizens and identify engineering controls during audits; review Quality alerts on production lines.

Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Quality alerts, and Visual management for all project phases through to series production, ensuring incorporation of Lessons Learned.

Develop or facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for Critical Raw Materials & Processes, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and other process documents for New Product Introductions (NPIs).

Responsible for Statistical Process Control (SPC) studies, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), instrument Calibration, and Part and product qualification approval processes according to PPAP during NPI and transition.

Run the Rapid Problem Solution (RPS) System, sustain process Non-Conformance Report (NCR) closure Turnaround Time (TAT), and share weekly dashboards of NCRs.

Develop checklists and perform Daily process audits in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Assembly, Testing, and Packing to ensure the correct product reaches the customer.

Responsible for the development/technology upgrade of test equipment and test kits.

MUST HAVE

Degree in Electronics Engineering.

Experience working in Electronics industries, primarily PCBA manufacturing and Testing lines.

Minimum 5-6 years of experience working in Process Quality.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of PCBA troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.

Expertise in SMT processes, PCB assembly, and testing processes.

Knowledge of Airport light manufacturing processes and quality control systems.

Familiarity with PPAP documentation, FMEA, Control Plan (CP) & Process Flow Diagram (PFD), and SPC; knowledge of Minitab tools.

Six Sigma Green Belt certified and well-versed in quality tools.

Qualified Internal Auditor in ISO9001 and knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
