Banking Administrator/ Cashier

A bank teller job involves handling daily financial transactions for customers, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Key duties also include balancing cash drawers, providing customer service, promoting bank products, and ensuring all transactions comply with regulations. Tellers are the primary point of customer contact and play a crucial role in building customer trust and satisfaction. Accurately count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, and handle cash deliveries.
Inform customers about bank products like new accounts, credit cards, and other services, and make sales referrals.
Follow all regulatory requirements and bank policies, and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
Track, record, and store transactional information and maintain account records.
Strong math skills are necessary for accurately handling cash and balancing accounts.
Accuracy is critical to avoid errors in financial transactions and record-keeping.
Familiarity with basic computer skills and banking software is required.
