IT Technical Support / Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in traditional and cloud networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise across on-premise infrastructure and modern cloud-based environments, with a strong understanding of network protocols, devices, security, and performance monitoring.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent

industry experience

1-3 years of troubleshooting experience on the following:
Preferred GCP experience
Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing/switching standards.
Hands-on experience in the design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.).
Cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Willingness to work from office in a 24×7 shift environment
Basic knowledge of Linux and networking concepts
Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.
Work with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and other routing and switching protocols.
Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking environments, particularly in GCP, but also including AWS and Azure
Configure and optimize GCP services such as VPC, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Armor.
Ensure network security using protocols such as VPNs, ASA, and FirePower, and follow best practices for securing network resources.
Perform packet capture/analysis, traffic-path analysis, and load testing using tools like Wireshark and Tcp dump to resolve network-latency, packet-loss, and performance issues.
Troubleshoot web technologies including DNS, SSL, and associated networking layers.
Work across Linux and Windows operating systems for system-level network configuration and analysis.
Utilize monitoring and logging tools for network performance analysis and issue resolution.
