Currently, we are bidding for Highway projects across India. The position of Bridge Design Engineer is the key position in these BIDs.
His duties will involve understanding the design provisions and review/checking of detailed design submitted by EPC contractor for Bow String Bridge/ Other Bridges.
Checking of reinforcement operations, rectifying any apparent mistakes in respect of them.
Checking and controlling the proper mix designs, checking the adequacy of proper form-work, laying/compacting of concrete including curing operations.
He will work in close coordination with the Bridge Engineer, Material Engineer and the Contractor’s Expert to effectively Control the quality of Execution.
Responsible for Minor modifications in design of bridge whenever required during execution.
Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Professional Experience of 15 years in design of Bridge / Structural Engineering.
Experience of 5 years in similar capacity in design / Design review of Arch Bridge/ Bow String/ Cable stayed/ Extra dosed Bridge.
Must be familiar with modern methods of construction of cable stayed / extra dosed highway bridge and its design standards, technical specifications and statistical Quality Control/ Assurance procedures for construction.
Experience as Design of Arch Bridge/ Bow String/ Cable stayed/ Extra dosed Bridge projects (minimum span 100m).
