DevOps Engineer (monitoring)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to manage and improve our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong understanding of modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS and GCP
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring tools
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Handle deployment, configuration, and maintenance of production systems
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and applications
Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments
Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and system reliability
Manage version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB)
- Good experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM)
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell scripting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
Requirements
Experience with multi-cloud architecture (AWS + GCP)
Exposure to Microservices architecture
Knowledge of security best practices (DevSecOps)
Experience with Nginx, Apache, or reverse proxies
Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Experience in cost optimization and cloud resource management
