QA Manager - testing
Description We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a proven track record of managing QA teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and plans.
Lead and mentor the QA team to ensure high standards of quality.
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze quality metrics and prepare reports for management.
Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in QA/testing roles.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
