Logistics Executive
Overview: The Logistics Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the supply chain operations of the organization. The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient movement of goods and services, optimize logistical processes, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with suppliers and transportation providers to enhance supply chain performance.
Manage and oversee the logistics processes from procurement to delivery.
Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure timely dispatch of products.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and freight forwarders to facilitate supply chain operations.
Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in logistics operations.
Implement best practices in logistics management and supply chain operations.
Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
Strong data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics and KPIs.
Familiarity with shipping and transportation regulations and compliance.
Knowledge of inventory management techniques and methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Skills & Experience:
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
A strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in logistics operations.
