Software Development Engineer in Testing
Description We are seeking a Software Tester to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
Responsibilities
Designing and executing test plans and test cases.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
Collaborating with developers and other team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Performing regression testing and ensuring that existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
Participating in requirement reviews and providing feedback to ensure testability.
Maintaining test documentation and reporting test results.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C# is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
