Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Security Engineer to enhance the security posture of our SEA E-Commerce Cequence Platform . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud security, Kubernetes hardening, API security, Splunk advanced correlation/detection , and the integration of security into DevOps pipelines.

This role requires a hands-on approach to securing cloud-native applications, identifying and mitigating threats, and ensuring compliance with security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Implement security best practices across DevOps pipelines and cloud-native platforms.

Configure and optimize Splunk for advanced correlation, detection, and monitoring of security events.

Secure APIs, microservices, and bots by integrating security controls in development and deployment cycles.

Harden Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads for production environments.

Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to embed security in CI/CD workflows.

Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for deployed systems.

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.

Must-Have Skills

Proven experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, and container security.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes hardening and container security best practices.

Strong knowledge of API security, bot security, and microservice security patterns.

Advanced Splunk skills for log correlation, alerting, and threat detection.

Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with e-commerce platform security and SaaS environments.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, CKA, CKAD, or relevant cloud security certifications.
