Accountant / Finance Team Leader

Revenue Assurance Lead:

The Revenue Lead will own the accounting for the complete product line assigned to him / her inclusive of recognition of revenue, billing input, and collections functions within HealthEdge's finance & accounting team. He / She is required to analyze the customer contracts and identify the different performance obligations, determine the total transaction price from the contract, assign the transaction price to each performance obligation input the necessary details or prepare necessary revenue schedule which should be the basis for recognition and billing to customers. The Revenue Lead will perform accounting functions as assigned, including, but not limited to, preparing journal entries and complex reconciliations for monthly general ledger close, assisting in the annual audit, and ensuring that all deliverables comply with GAAP.

Responsible for revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606 including month-end close, account reconciliations and variance analysis.

Perform customer contracts reviews and determine different performance obligations, total transaction price, assignment of transaction price to each obligation and provide necessary input for recognition and billings and develop revenue related accounting memos.

Align with finance team to develop accurate customer forecasts and analysis.

Assist with the billing and invoicing process for assigned customers.

Prepare journal entries to calculate, capitalize, and amortize contract assets.

Assist with managing deliverables for annual audit.

Work with tax department at customer intake to determine appropriate sales tax treatment.

Education and Experience:

7-9 years of accounting experience; Saas accounting and ASC 606 experience preferred.

Master's degree in accounting or Qualified CA or CPA.

Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures

Strong technical experience with advanced software skills including Microsoft Office Excel; NetSuite Advanced Revenue Module preferred.
