Software Engineer (DevOps with AWS)

We are seeking a proactive Backend Developer who has successfully created and launched key features using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Go, or similar, along with SQL databases. This position requires taking full responsibility for the entire delivery process, starting from comprehending business use cases to deploying and maintaining stable backend services. Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle: from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Engage in developing complex functionalities, rather than merely making minor bug fixes or cosmetic adjustments. Create efficient SQL schemas, compose optimized queries, and ensure data integrity. Work closely with frontend and product teams to deliver complete, user-facing features. Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and uphold high engineering standards. 2-5 years of experience as a backend developer. Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL (MySQL or similar RDBMS) – SQL proficiency is essential. A solid understanding of web fundamentals: Experience with Linux-based environments and Git/GitHub workflows. Bonus / Brownie Points
Significant contributions to open-source projects (please provide GitHub links), particularly in web/backend domains. Involvement in initiatives such as GSoC, hackathons, competitive programming platforms like Codeforces, or similar experiences. Internships at reputable product or tech companies with real feature ownership. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and some foundational knowledge of DevOps.
We are not seeking primarily ML/AI profiles or candidates focused mainly on data science/ML pipelines. Candidates with experience limited to minor bug fixes, CSS adjustments, or small refactors without significant feature ownership will not be suitable.
