Data Engineer (AWS, SQL)

Description We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and deliver data solutions.
Develop and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Perform data modeling and database design for efficient data retrieval.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to manage data storage and processing.
Monitor and improve system performance and scalability.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and tools.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services related to data storage and processing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
