Job Description : We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer to work on development, enhancement, and support of applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform.The role requires strong hands-on programming skills and the ability to independently manage complex application modules.Roles & Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain applications on AS400 / IBM i- Hands-on development using RPG, RPGLE, CL- Work with DB2/400 for database design and queries- Perform application enhancements, maintenance, and performance tuning- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement understanding and delivery- Follow SDLC, change management, and coding best practicesRequired Skills & Qualifications : - 5 - 15 years of experience as an AS400 Developer- Strong experience in RPG/RPGLE, CL programming- Hands-on knowledge of DB2/400- Experience in application maintenance and production support- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and take ownershipGood to Have : - Experience with free-form RPG- Exposure to modernization or migration projects- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
