Technical Specialist - Performance Testing

We are looking for a Technical Specialist – Node.js with expertise in Node.js, Express, and JavaScript, along with AWS cloud exposure. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. Additional experience in GIS, Machine Learning/AI, and Python would be a plus. This role involves working on complex backend solutions, ensuring best practices in software engineering, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Node.js & Express.
Design and implement microservices architecture and RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in AWS Cloud, particularly ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SES.
Work with databases such as Timescale PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, optimizing queries and schema design.
Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs with React, Angular, or Vue applications.
Improve system performance by conducting profiling, monitoring, and load testing.
Work with Docker & Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate services.
Strong experience in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and SES.
Experience with Timescale PostgreSQL or similar time-series databases.
Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD,etc.).
Exposure to Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Supertest,etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug performance issues.
Good To Have (Bonus Skills)
Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor is a plus
Understanding of GIS (Geospatial Data, PostGIS, Mapbox, Google Maps API etc.).
Exposure to Machine Learning / AI (concepts, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, NLP, embeddings, etc.).
Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, or ML/AI integration.
Familiarity with Neo4j Graph Database and Cypher Query Language.
Experience working with event-driven architectures and serverless frameworks.
