Wordpress Website Developer

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, designing and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, an eye for design, and the ability to convert business requirements into functional, scalable websites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Convert PSD/Figma designs into responsive WordPress websites.
Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes efficiently.
Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates.
Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and plugins.
Collaborate with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality websites.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
Manage website hosting, domain, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience in developing custom themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with WooCommerce is a plus.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with REST APIs integration.
Knowledge of website security practices.
Experience working with hosting platforms such as wpengine etc
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
