Job Description : As head of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion opportunities for Himalayan Rocket Stove in the Indian & International markets.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, expanding the distribution network, and increasing sales revenue.

You will also be expected to provide leadership and support for the sales and marketing team to develop and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.

2. Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with distributors, NGOs, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

3. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

5. Oversee the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and materials for existing and new product launches.

6. Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.

7. Cultivate a culture of rapid response to market demands and interest.

8. Provide leadership and educational support for the career advancement of the sales & marketing team.

9. Represent Himalayan Rocket Stove at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

2. Preferable to have at least 8 to 10 years of experience in Business Development and Sales.

3. Proven track record of success in business development and sales & marketing roles, preferably in high value capital goods industry.

4. Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics, with experience in renewable energy and/or sustainable technology products, and rural development initiatives being a plus.

5. Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work as a leader, prioritize tasks, coordinate and support team members to meet deadlines.

7. Willingness to travel extensively as required.
