Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, located in Vellore, for a Paint Prep Junior and Mid Level Artist. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality clean plates by removing unwanted elements such as rigs, markers, and wires as per project requirements. They will collaborate closely with the compositing team to ensure seamless integration of the VFX elements into the shots. Other tasks may include analyzing footage, working on roto-paint, and maintaining a workflow consistent with production standards.

Qualifications

Experience with paint and rotoscoping techniques, including object removal, wire removal, and clean plate creation.
Proficiency in VFX software such as Nuke and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of camera and object tracking (Match Move) and integration into final composites.
Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
Basic knowledge of compositing and visual storytelling techniques.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with different teams in a production pipeline.
Any experience in animation, VFX, or related fields will be an added advantage.
Passion for visual effects and the ability to adapt to project needs is essential.
