Job Title: PGT Mathematics

Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated PGT Mathematics teacher to deliver high-quality instruction as per the CBSE curriculum. The incumbent will be responsible for conceptual teaching, exam preparation, and fostering analytical thinking among students.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics as per the CBSE syllabus covering topics such as Number Systems, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Trigonometry .
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice papers aligned with CBSE board examination patterns.
Conduct regular assessments, periodic tests, and pre-board examinations; provide timely feedback and remedial support.
Maintain student progress records and communicate regularly with parents and the academic coordinator.
Participate in school activities, PTMs, staff development programmes, and contribute to the academic committee as required.
Use technology, smart classroom tools, and activity-based learning methods to make Mathematics engaging and accessible.

Education

B.Sc/M.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks
B.Ed. from a recognised university (mandatory)
NET/STET qualified preferred
Familiarity with modern teaching tools and techniques is an advantage

Experience

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Prior experience in a CBSE school preferred
