Role Summary:

The College Store Manager oversees the acquisition, storage, and dispersal of
materials needed for college operations. This includes electrical, plumbing, and other essential
supplies for facilities. The role ensures timely availability of materials, efficient inventory
management, and cost-effective procurement practices.

Primary Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

Keep precise records of all materials and supplies in inventory.
Conduct routine audits to address discrepancies promptly.
Implement and oversee inventory control systems to prevent shortages and excess stock.

Acquisition:

Identify and procure necessary materials and supplies for college facilities.
Cultivate vendor relationships and bargain contracts for cost-effective purchases.
Evaluate and execute purchase orders to comply with college policies and budgets.

Material Dispersal:

Guarantee prompt distribution of materials to different college departments.
Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to prioritize material requests.
Supervise the delivery and logistics of materials.

Budget Management:

Keep track of and oversee the budget allocation for materials and supplies.
Provide regular updates on expenses and stock levels.
Find ways to save costs without compromising on quality.

Vendor Management:

Assess vendor performance and keep a record of authorized vendors.
Address any issues related to vendor service, delivery, or product quality.
Stay informed about market trends and new products.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all materials are stored and handled according to safety regulations.
Adopt safe handling practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
Stay current on regulations and standards related to materials management.

Education/Experience

Key Responsibilities:

? Keep precise documentation of all transactions, such as receipts, disbursements, and
material returns.
? Compile reports on inventory status, procurement efforts, and budget spending.
? Skillfully operate inventory management software and other relevant tools.
Requirements:
? Education: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, or a related field.
? Experience: Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in materials management,
procurement, or a similar role. Preference given to those with experience in a college or
educational setting.
